What Is Zodiac Compatibility (Synastry)?
Zodiac compatibility is, at its most fundamental level, the art of comparing two people's birth charts. In astrology this method is called Synastry. It takes into account not only the sun sign but also elements, modality and planetary positions. This tool shows how compatible two sun signs are according to traditional astrology rules.
Sun sign compatibility is a starting point. For deeper analysis, a full Synastry chart including the moon sign, rising sign and Venus–Mars positions is recommended.

This range indicates that two signs naturally support each other in terms of element, modality and traditional astrology. Deep understanding, strong attraction and complementary energies are present. Same or complementary element combinations (Water+Earth, Fire+Air) fall into this group.
50% – 79%: Growable & Passionate Relationship
In this range, both attractive and challenging dynamics coexist. The two people carry different strengths from each other; this can create powerful initial attraction. With conscious communication and flexibility the relationship matures and enriches over time. Most opposite signs fall in this group.
0% – 49%: Challenging but Instructive Bond
